The Board of Directors would like to thank Russell Moore and Joe Strauss for spearheading the Bluff Trail Fence Committee. They were appointed by the Board at the March 2011 Board of Directors Meeting to move forward with the application process for the amendment on the existing permit. If the Coastal Commision approved this amendment then the Association will be able to move forward with the installation of a solid iron fence. We thank you for your service to your Community. More to follow......

Public Parks– Update

Please be advised that the, “Pocket Park”, located behind the monument and the Tot Lot are both public parks. Management has requested from the City to see if there is anyway to help out in regards to maintenance or financial means for the upkeep of these parks. It was also requested to see if we can make those parks, Association use only. All three requests have been denied due to budget issues within the City.

Reclaimed Water for Common Area & Slope Landscaping
Currently, the Association is working with DWP to see what the possibilities are for obtaining reclaimed    water services for the slope and for certain areas of the Community landscaping. There have been a few on-site job walks and it looks like we may be compatible for this, which will create water savings for the HOA.

~Survey Results~

The Board recently sent a survey out to the Ownership with some of the hot topics that were brought up and discussed throughout the years. Prior to pursuing each topic, the Board wanted to obtain the outlook of the Owners on each individual topic. In review of the response, the following topics have been considered a closed topic by the Board:

Additional Monuments within the Community.

Installation of Artificial Grass.

Installation of fencing throughout the Community.

The Association is on stand by for an update on the next Social Function.

More information will be provided once the details are set.
